I’m always equal parts excited and nervous when a book goes out into the world. But this time, excited outweighs nervous by more than usual. Because early readers are loving this book.
One wrote to me a couple of days ago to say:
“It’s all your fault! I’m falling asleep in a training I’m at today because I stayed up waaaay past my bedtime last night reading Sleepover. OmG I LOVE this story! 💕💕💕”
Sleepover has also gotten some really great attention from editorial reviewers. Here are two of my favorite quotes:
“Touching and seductive . . . a perfect blend of romantic sexiness and sweet sentimentality.” —Publishers Weekly (starred review)
“Masterfully blending high emotion and intense sensuality, Sleepover is a showstopper.” —Apple Books (Best Books of November)
Sleepover is the third in a loosely connected series of romances about single dads. I’ve always really loved writing about dads and kids, maybe because I grew up with a terrific, involved dad and am married to another one. But I also see lots of dads all around me in my suburban world who are struggling with fatherhood—because it’s tough, because it’s scary, because it requires, like motherhood, having your “heart go walking around outside your body,” as that great quote says. So I like to explore those struggles.
If you’re interested in what makes dads tick, too—or if you just LOVE getting to see a sexy dad find his happily-ever-after (with plenty of steamy good times along the way), then my books are for you! Grab a copy of Sleepover and learn what readers are raving about!
Hugs. And as always, thanks for reading!
