Hott Take: A Steamy Rush Creek Romantic Comedy

Another outstanding romance! Shane is the second brother to have to follow a specific but seemingly random assignment in order to protect his sister's inheritance from their grandfather. As a rich and famous actor, he has to arrange a celebrity wedding to take place at the family's Hott Springs resort. Should be easy, and it is, until the couple he has set to marry breaks up just a month before the deadline. Enter Ivy, a reclusive actress who has traded Hollywood's fame for a quiet, small town theater group, one that is in desperate need of a venue at which to meet and perform. Shane agrees to grant her the necessary access at Hott Springs in exchange for a marriage of convenience. Easy set up, right? And we all know where that's going to lead, right? So does Ivy. And that's why she says no. Of course if the that was all there was to it there wouldn't be much of a story. Lucky for us, this amazing author has a few more tricks up her sleeve, and she pulls out all the stops to give us a memorable, tender, steamy romance that'll make even a nun swoon. And we get more personal growth and depth for all the Hott siblings as they work together to make sure each of their grandfather's will's stipulations are met to the letter. This is a terrific series, full of small town charm and big city excitement. I really love every trip to Rush Creek and highly recommend every book in this series, as well as the previous related series. Contemporary romance doesn't get any better than this. As they plan their sham wedding, Shane and Ivy’s genuine connection grows, threatening their guarded hearts. This high-heat rom com is fun and full of sensual tension. I love the characters and the world of Rush Creek. Can’t wait to read the next book! My thanks to the author for the ARC I received.

It can be read as a standalone, but I feel you will enjoy the story more if you read book one, Hott Shot. If you want to know all the characters, read Wilder Adventures too! This is a cute story of fake dating and fake marriage. It was easy to read. I was invested in the story and hated putting it down when real life called. Do yourself a favor and take the trip to Rush
